Why the name Green Love?  My daughter saved her money and bought me a green jelly roll of fabric for my birthday.  She went to a lot of trouble to find the right jelly roll.  This beautiful quilt is on my bed and will always remind me of her love and sacrifice to give me this present.

Green Love is a simple four strip square design with each square rotated 90 degrees from its neighbor.  I added a wide border and created a beautiful restful quilt.  The fabrics used in this quilt are all cotton from Artisan Batiks – Prisma Dyes Rainforest Roll Up by Lunn Studios for Robert Kaufman for the center, Michael Miller French Journal Collection Anjou Pour Vous Yellow for the border, and Little House on the Praire Andover Fabrics Daisy Green for the backing. The batting is Warm and Plush Cotton batting.

The quilting design was a simple meander with a loop throughout the meander.

Thank you my dear daughter for your love and kindness!  I will always treasure this beautiful gift.
